BRITISH GAS NOW ACQUIRES HEAT PUMP MANUFACTURER

British gas has recently acquired a manufacturer of Cool Planet Technologies for pound 500,000. The company has purchased assets in Cool planet and may thus have a number of energy customer looking forward to further cut down on their carbon footprints by going fro BG.

Cool Planet specializes in designing, selling and installing ground and air source heat pumps. These may be opted for by consumers on a commercial and direct-to-consumer basis.

The green revolution has already begun in the United Kingdom as companies are looking at cutting down on their carbons footprints as much as possible. Add to this the fact that it would be among the things to rely on in order to meet with the UK requirement to cut down on their carbon footprints drastically by 2050 as under the Climate Change Act 2008.
